Dragon Ball Z Kinect Listed for $39.99

Dragon Ball Z Kinect game is still a few months away from launch, but the good folks at Amazon have gone ahead and listed a price for Goku’s first controller-free fighter. What is the listed cost? $39.99 – that’s $20 cheaper than a Xbox 360 game normally debuts!

Seeing how the game likely won’t have multiplayer or online, we think the lower than normal price makes sense. However, it’s quite possible the price is just listed incorrectly at the moment. Amazon has listed on their product page November 30, 2012 as the release date for the game, but Namco Bandai has already confirmed the game will be released in October in the United States.

Dragon Ball Z Kinect (officially known as Dragon Ball Z for Kinect) is in development by Spike Chunsoft. It will feature over 50 playable characters and put players in a first person scenario as they act like the heroes and villains they love from the Dragon Ball Z series thanks to Microsoft’s Kinect. The game will be published in North America and Europe by Namco Bandai Games October 2012 for the Microsoft Xbox 360.

DragonBall Z: Saiyan Saga – Another Live Action Series!

K&K Productions a company based in Hertfordshire UK are working on making Live Action Dragonball Z extended trailers for each Saga, which are expected to be 4-5 minutes in length.. The Saiyan Saga is set to release early August 2012..

The budget of the film was expected to be about $5000 however many people have contributed towards the project and K&K Productions has raised over $15,000.

Luckily I’ve found some early photos of Piccolo and Raditz, and so far they definatly look the part – keeping in consideration the budget constraints..

Dragon Ball Z Kinect Classified PG in Australia

Evidence for Dragon Ball Z Kinect just keeps growing! On February 27, 2012, the Australian Government gave Dragon Ball Z Kinect a classification (or rating) of PG (parental guidance) for mild violence. That is pretty much an equivalent of North America’s ESRB rating of T for Teen.

The publisher is the expectedNamco Bandai Australia and like all video games in Australia, Dragon Ball Z Kinect is listed as a computer game. You may note it says “Multi Platform”, but after doing a bit of research all video games have that notation listed, even when they are for a single platform. We expect this game to be a Microsoft Xbox 360 exclusive.

Dragon Ball Z Kinect Rated in Europe, Episode Of Bardock Bundle Possible

The possibility for Dragon Ball Z Kinect for the Microsoft 360 just keeps increasing! First Korea’s Game Rating Board put up a notice for the game and now Europe’s British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has done the same! The entry for the game was just filed today by Namco Bandai Games Europe.

One might wonder why a video game is being rated by a film classification company. To answer that, we had to do did a little homework. Saiyan Island found the reason for this was that it has an attached anime special to it!

What special could Dragon Ball Z Kinect have bundled with it? Well, the rating in the BBFC lists the run for 19 minutes and 50 seconds and the only recent special we can think of not officially released in Europe is Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock! Yes, this is the anime special where Bardock, father of Goku, goes Super Saiyan for the very first time.

As always, we say to take this information with a grain of salt until officially announced by Namco Bandai, but if all ends up true, it look like Dragon Ball Z Kinect is coming to Europe, with Episode Of Bardock bundled with it! YOSH!

There Will Likely Not be a Dragonball Z Kai Buu Saga..

So maybe you’ve already seen this, but a poster of the Dragonball Z Kai Buu Saga has been circulating the internet for a while.. I’ve attached it below for your viewing.. Although it appears to be real and probably is, the fact is they sadly never had the chance to air the Buu Saga primarily due to a anime show called Tokiro taking up Dragonball Z Kai’s Time slot..

So it’s likely we will not see the Buu Saga for Dragonball Z Kai anytime soon.. This is probably old news for the most of you..
